R+F FilterElements GmbH is a German engineering company specializing in industrial filtration media and elements. Our focus is engineering-led development of application-specific filtration solutions rather than off-the-shelf catalog trading.
Where is R+F FilterElements based and where do you manufacture?
The company is based in Hildesheim, Germany (Wollenweberstraße 25, 31134 Hildesheim). Our filtration media and elements are manufactured in Europe.
Do you provide engineering and development support?
Yes. We work as an engineering partner: from analysing the filtration task and selecting the right media through to designing application-specific, made-to-measure filter elements. Many of our products originate from a specific customer development requirement rather than a fixed catalog.

Which product ranges do you offer?

Product selection is always matched to the specific process and medium.
What materials are used for your filter plates?
We supply filter plates in standard, high-pressure and high-temperature designs for solid-liquid separation and sludge dewatering, including versions suitable for demanding chemical, mineral, ceramic and food applications. The material and design are selected according to operating pressure, temperature, chemical exposure and the required cake behaviour.
What is pile cloth disc filter media and which systems is it for?
Pile cloth disc filter media (pile fabric) is a filter cloth used in disc filters for tertiary treatment and industrial water filtration. We supply replacement pile cloth media in polyester and polyamide, precision-confectioned to fit Mecana and Mita disc filter systems. R+F FilterElements is an independent supplier of replacement media and is not affiliated with, authorised or endorsed by these OEMs.
Can you supply custom or made-to-measure filter elements?
Yes. A large share of our work is application-specific. We confection filter media and elements to your dimensions, filtration grade and process requirements — for example precision-fit disc filter cloths or filter plates matched to your press.
Replacement & Compatibility
Are your replacement filter elements compatible with OEM systems?
Yes. We supply replacement filter elements and media engineered to fit and perform in widely used OEM systems. Any OEM or brand names are used solely to describe compatibility. R+F FilterElements is an independent manufacturer of replacement media and elements; it is not affiliated with, authorised or endorsed by the referenced manufacturers, and does not supply original OEM spare parts or complete systems.
How do I find the right replacement for my existing filter?
Send us your current article/part number, the system or filter it is used in, and the process conditions (medium, temperature, filtration grade). We cross-reference against our range and, where needed, develop a matching replacement. If in doubt, a sample or drawing helps us confirm the correct fit.

What are your typical lead times and minimum quantities?
Lead times and minimum quantities depend on the product, material availability and whether the item is standard or custom-confectioned. We confirm both with your quote. For recurring requirements we can agree on framework arrangements to secure availability.
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes. As a European manufacturer we supply customers across Europe and internationally. Delivery terms are confirmed per order.
